About Us
Mission
The Association is dedicated to advancing and disseminating knowledge about the responsible care and use of laboratory animals for the benefit of human and animal health.
Diversity and Inclusion
The Metropolitan New York Branch of AALAS is an educational organization and would like to emphasize our commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as our commitment to anti-racism and equality in our organization. Our organization strives to support and educate our members in the laboratory animal science community. We reject all forms of discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, military status, disability, natural origin or marital status.
The Metropolitan NY Branch of AALAS board will update the by-laws to enhance this commitment. (June 2020)
